Animal Stamp Generator
A text-to-animal-stamp generator: type any name or word and get one unique animal stamp. The same text always makes the same stamp — keep the text private and it stays your own.
Type your name or any word (spaces ignored) — same text → the same animal.
Text in, animal stamp out
This is a text-to-animal-stamp generator. Type anything — your name, a nickname, a word, a phrase — press Generate, and that text is turned into one specific animal stamp, drawn live as vector SVG.
The text is the seed. It is hashed into a number that drives roughly two dozen independent traits — head, ears, eyes, brows, nose, mouth, colour — plus the coat. Nothing is random here: the same text always produces the exact same stamp, on any device, forever.
Every text owns its own stamp
Each distinct text maps to its own animal out of a space of 2⁴⁸ — over 280 trillion possibilities, so collisions are vanishingly unlikely. Your name has an animal; a friend's name has a different one. That makes a stamp genuinely tied to its text — a personal mark, a profile avatar, a team or project seal.
Public or private — your choice
The text is the key, and whether you share it is entirely up to the use case. Make the text public — a brand name, a team, a project — and anyone can regenerate the exact same stamp on demand: a shared, verifiable mark. Keep the text to yourself (and turn off “print the seed on the stamp”) and only you can ever recreate it, so the image circulates freely while the animal stays uniquely yours. Neither is required — it is just two ways to use the same idea.
The coat is a real Turing pattern
The markings aren't pulled from a library — they are computed with a Gray–Scott reaction–diffusion simulation, the morphogenesis model Alan Turing proposed for animal spots and stripes, then traced into clean vector contours. Prefer to explore? The Random button spins to a fresh seed; whatever it lands on still has its own code you can keep.
