NFT Trait Layer Combiner

Combine image layers, set trait rarities, and generate NFT-ready metadata. Create up to 10,000 unique items with images and JSON files, ready to upload to your NFT pipeline.

How NFT trait layer combining works

Most NFT collections are built from layered artwork. Each layer represents a category like background, body, eyes, or hat. Inside each layer, you have multiple trait images (for example, blue background, red background, and so on).

When you combine one trait from each layer, you get a unique NFT image. Rarity is controlled by how often each trait is allowed to appear. This tool helps you define those layers, assign weights, and produce consistent metadata and image files for each token ID.

What this tool generates for you

The generator outputs two folders inside a ZIP: one for images and one for JSON metadata. Image files follow a simple pattern like1.png,2.png, and so on.

Each JSON file (for example,1.json) uses a common NFT metadata structure with fields like name, description, image, and anattributes array that records all trait choices for that token.

Good practices when using this combiner

Keep layer order consistent across your whole project and use clear trait names, since they show up directly in metadata attributes. Decide early whether IDs should start at 0 or 1, and stick to that convention across your smart contracts, marketplaces, and off-chain tools.

This tool is focused on local, browser-side generation and quick iteration. For large, production collections, you can take the generated metadata format and plug the same rules into your own build pipeline or backend scripts so everything is reproducible and auditable.
