What this date counter does
This page combines two popular date tools in one interface. In Countdown mode, it measures how much time is left until your selected date. In Reverse countdown mode, it measures how much time has passed since your selected date.
The timer updates in real time and shows both a detailed clock (days, hours, minutes, seconds) and larger totals such as total days or total hours. This makes it useful for deadlines, exams, launches, anniversaries, and progress tracking.
How to use it effectively
Enter an event name and pick a date-time. Choose Countdown to date for future targets or Reverse countdown for past dates. You can use quick date chips like +1 week or -30 days for fast setup.
If you share timelines with teammates or friends, use the copy summary button to export a clean sentence. The tool is browser-based with a minimal UI, so you can quickly check time deltas without account setup.
